Lower eyelid blepharoplasty
Changes in the lower eyelids can create the appearance of puffiness or bags beneath the eyes. Lower blepharoplasty is a procedure used to address selected changes in this area.
During your consultation, Dr. Zamecki-Vedder evaluates your eyelid anatomy and discusses the concerns you would like to address. This evaluation helps determine whether lower eyelid surgery is appropriate and which approach to consider.
A plan specific to your eye area
The procedure may involve removing a small amount of fat through an incision on the inside of the lower eyelid. Your surgeon will discuss the proposed procedure, its limitations, and the risks relevant to your care.
Other treatments around the eyes may be discussed when appropriate. No single plan is right for every patient, and outcomes and recovery vary.
